Elon Musk has stated that he intends to give stock in his company, SpaceX, to every child in the United States next year.

In a post on X, Musk wrote, “Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every child in the United States.”

SpaceX, which Musk founded in 2002, is one of the world’s most valuable private companies; it operates the Starlink satellite internet service, as well as launch and spacecraft programs.

If Musk were to provide stock to every child in the United States, it would reach approximately 72 million individuals and, based on the current valuation of SpaceX shares, would represent a value of roughly $10.5 billion.
