A 47-year-old Michigan woman used money from her aunt’s birthday card to play an online lottery game—and walked away with $150,000.
A woman from the U.S. state of Michigan tried her luck in an online lottery using money she received for her birthday and won a prize of $150,000.
The 47-year-old woman, a resident of Oakland County, told Michigan Lottery officials that her streak of good fortune began with a birthday gift.
She explained that a few days before her birthday, her aunt had sent her a card containing some money. She used those funds to purchase an online game card.
