What’s Your Mindset That Lets You Make $100 A Day?

Our mindset has a lot to do with what we are capable of accomplishing in our lives. There are people who succeed, and there are people who don’t, and it’s often not because one person was born with more intelligence or better genes than the other. It’s often because they’ve learned how to handle their mindset, and how to make it work to their advantage, instead of letting it control them and hold them back in life. In this article, you’ll learn about the right mindset that will help you make $100 a day…or more!

Don’t focus on income, focus on value

When I started out as an entrepreneur, I was hoping to focus on income from day one. If I focused on creating value and serving people well, money would follow in time, right? Wrong. In fact, focusing on income actually takes away from a focus on value and service because it changes how you do things.

If you’re focused solely on getting money, rather than making customers happy and solving their problems…well…let’s just say things get pretty ugly very quickly. Instead of trying to sell people something right off the bat, take some time to provide value first—and once they realize how much they benefit from what you have to offer (and how little it costs), then they’ll be more than happy to pay for it!

Getting out of debt

If you want to be successful, nothing can be more important than getting out of debt. When you’re in debt and aren’t making much money, every dollar seems to go right back into paying off what we owe. If we could have our debts paid off and have some money left over—well, now we’re talking!

The quickest way to accomplish all of these goals is by cutting costs. You may have heard it said before: You can either pay me now or pay me later. In other words, one good way to avoid paying later is by spending less today—by reducing expenses and living leaner until our debts are paid off.

Not comparing yourself to others

A huge part of mindset is being able to get comfortable with who you are, what you have, and what you need. Too often we compare ourselves to others; we see someone else doing something and think I wish I could do that too. The problem is, those other people aren’t as—we’re not them and they aren’t us.

We don’t live their lives and they don’t live ours; there’s no reason to compare ourselves to anyone else. Just be happy with yourself and know that everything good in life takes hard work; if it were easy everyone would be doing it! People will come into our lives who achieve their goals more quickly than we do—and some people achieve goals without much effort at all.

Get into the habit of saving money

Most people don’t realize it, but your savings rate plays a large role in determining how much money you’ll eventually have. If you have bad saving habits, then more of what you earn will probably go to expenses and debt payments instead of investments and savings. On average, people spend almost everything they earn – save 10% or less each month and it can take decades to get wealthy.

The easiest way to start saving more is by getting into good financial habits right away – once those are ingrained in your daily routine, it becomes much easier to save money automatically and resist spending temptations. It all starts with a budget, which is why I recommend creating one first before setting goals for how much money you want to invest or save.

Believing it’s possible

I often talk about mindset, but for some reason, people tend to gloss over it. Do not gloss over it. Believing in what’s possible can literally be everything in life, and it’s at least as important as believing in your own abilities. Do or do not; there is no try – Yoda said that, right?

But if you don’t believe something is possible, how will you ever take action towards making it happen? And if you don’t take action on something, why would anyone else care enough to help out? It all starts with mindset.

Passion and hard work

Sure, making money is important, but it’s about more than just earning cash. The process of turning an idea into something of value to other people is incredibly fulfilling and gratifying. If you don’t have passion for what you’re doing, or if you lack the drive to see it through, don’t expect to make very much money—if at all.

Work hard and be honest with yourself as well: while there are many ways to earn money online today (eBay arbitrage, anyone?), there are plenty of legitimate ways to bring in income without ever needing to work in your underwear again.

Set goals

It’s an understatement to say that setting goals are an essential component of achieving success. It’s true—goals are one of those things that just work. A meta-analysis by Gollwitzer and colleagues found goal setting has been shown to improve performance on all sorts of tasks, from musical memory to hitting free throws. But what does a goal actually do for us?

Why are goals so helpful when it comes to performing well and succeeding in life? What is it about them that makes them such valuable tools for getting what we want out of life, or any area where skill or performance is important: art, fitness, career…you name it. The answer lies in our mindset and how we go about setting our goals.

Never give up on your dreams!

A lot of people don’t feel like they can be who they want to be or achieve what they want to achieve. They believe money is only for certain types of people. I strongly believe there are no limits on what you can do in life, so don’t sell yourself short because of some limiting belief or mindset.

If you have a true desire and commitment to succeed, then nothing will stand in your way. If it doesn’t work out one way, turn it around and figure out another way—you’ll get there!

Learn from others

Our first goal in creating a side hustle is to learn from others. The best way to begin learning is by listening; one of my favorite ways to learn about something new is by talking with others who are experts on the subject. How did they get started, what worked for them, and what didn’t work for them?

Try joining online forums or groups where like-minded individuals can share their knowledge with each other. If possible, talk with people offline as well; they’ll appreciate it and will be more likely to help you succeed if they feel like they know you personally. While talking to people directly may seem scary at first, remember: People love helping others when it benefits them too!
