FBR extends tax return deadline to October 15
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing tax returns to qualify as a tax filer.
According to an FBR notification, the original deadline for filing income tax returns—set for September 30—has been extended by 15 days. Taxpayers can now submit their income tax returns until October 15.
FBR sources report that the tax collection target for September was fully achieved, with total tax collections for the month reaching Rs 1,390 billion.
